Riverdale's second season has already given us a ton to look forward to, between its new Reggie and the possibility of finally finding out what happened to Fred. And star Camila Mendes just dropped another hint to get us excited: Fans themselves could influence the plot.

"With things like Twitter, we can touch base and see what they like and what they don’t like," she told Entertainment Weekly. "So I think going into season 2 we really know what people are interested in. Now that we’ve put it out there in the world, we can expand on it and go darker and deeper."

She also said the show was "going to unpack so many things in terms of the relationships for season 2 because Archie’s going to be going through this really traumatic experience and Veronica’s going to have to be there to help with that burden."

The idea of social media users affecting the direction a show takes doesn't sound too out there. After all, a Rihanna movie's being made because a bunch of people on Twitter called for it. Let's hope we can also harness the power of the Internet to bring Kevin and Joaquin back together.
