High Schooler's Pizza Selfie Tweet Goes Viral

It was lit.

Taking the perfect Instagram pic is no easy feat — especially when faced with the challenge of being in a poorly lit restaurant! Seriously, raise your hand for the number of times you've been there... you would think restaurants would catch on by now. (Not all of us are lucky enough to have LuMees.)

But one intrepid teen found the ultimate fix. Over the weekend, a teen named Jane managed to find the ultimate way to fix that problem while out with her teammates.

How to get that perfectly unstaged (but like, totally staged) Insta pic in a poorly lit eatery? Jane's entire team turned on their phones's backlights to create a DIY halo light. Hey, good friends will take a picture, but best friends will make sure the lighting and the crop are just right. To recreate it yourself, you just need to make sure you have your crew handy for the moment. We're actually surprised Taylor Swift's squad didn't come up with this first.

Even Jane can hardly believe that her simple solution went viral. She later mentioned on Twitter that her senior superlative was "Most Likely to Get Famous," so perhaps her friends knew it was only a matter of time.
