There are a lot of superhero secrets that the world will just never know. But, if you've ever wondered how Spider-Man manages to take time out from all that crimefighting to enjoy a snack, Tom Holland has you covered.

The IRL hero and star of Spider-Man: Far From Home revealed in an interview with Entertainment Tonight that in order to eat and drink while wearing his famous spidey suit, he has to use his eyes. No, really.

He detailed the intricate process, saying, "Basically, my eyes in my mask, they clip off, they come off, because they’re glass, and obviously the suit is fabric, and they need to clip in. And what I can do is I can take my left one out, and there’s a little, like, thing that I pull out, and then I put a tube, a squeezy tube, down into my mouth, and then I can drink from a bottle.”

The task, which is honestly heroic in its own right, also works for eating, too. "I found out is that if I push the mask forward, I can now squeeze gum and stuff down the eye hole," he said. "I've had a Kit Kat in the suit now." His Spider-Man costar Zendaya also shared that the drinking magic of the suit may have shocked one younger fan too. "There's this little kid just watching him drink from his eyes," she said.

Fans on social media have had some fun with the news, calling Tom an "innovator" and noting it's the "cost of being iconic." There's no word on whether Spider-Man's suit may one day include a more practical way of drinking water, but we know that superheroes are pretty cutting-edge, so here's hoping it works out.
