Pokémon Go is breaking all kinds of records in the app store this week. Less than a week after "Pokémon" was given an official dictionary definition, Apple announced that the game was downloaded more frequently in its first week than any other app. It's also becoming one of the fastest apps to reach the 10 million user mark, and on track to make $3 billion over the course of the next year.

"The app has generated more daily usage than higher-profile apps including Facebook and Snapchat," noted USA Today. "It's also raking in an unprecedented amount of money for The Pokémon Company and developer Niantic. SensorTower says the game has generated $35 million in net revenue." To be clear, that's about half of all mobile app revenue combined.

Now that the game has launched in Japan, it's likely the trend will only continue, though hopefully with a lot less shootings, deaths, and robberies. If you're still on your way to becoming a Pokémaster, here are 10 hacks to help you become the best, like no one ever was.
