It's hard to believe that there were five years in between Calvin Harris and Rihanna's "We Found Love" single and their newest "This Is What You Came For" collaboration. But while most people would take the time to savor a new project coming out, the DJ isn't slowing down. This morning, he went on Air with Ryan Seacrest and revealed more details about his upcoming projects.

He says he has "half a song" with Ellie Goulding in the works, which is great news. Sadly, however, the Calvin-Taylor collaboration you've been wanting still isn't happening. "You know, we haven't even spoken about it [collaborating]," he told Ryan. "I can't see it happening, though. No. She's about to take a long break, you know?"

He went on to point out how she "absolutely" deserves some R&R. So maybe he's just trying to be a good boyfriend by letting her do her own thing?

In another interview today, he added that Taylor is "super encouraging, and she kind of gets her vibe going with other people as well, you know. She can even cheer up my manager, which is an unbelievable feat! So it's fantastic having her around." If she's already around his music this much, it only makes sense for them to produce something together. A song from the two of them would be epic. Let's not lose hope just yet — maybe things will be different after her break. Anything is possible!
