Last month, 15-year-old Elizabeth Thomas was reported missing, and authorities believed that she had been kidnapped by her 50-year-old teacher, Tad Cummins. People now reports that Elizabeth has been found in Northern California, and Cummins has been arrested. According to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI), a news conference will be held later today, where the public will be provided with more details.

Throughout the investigation, authorities had reason to believe that Cummins was dangerous, as authorities believed he was armed with two handguns. Officials also noted that the teacher conducted online research about "teen marriage" as well as a search to see if his car could be tracked by law enforcement. Last month, Cummins had been charged with aggravated kidnapping and sexual contact with a minor and was added to TBI's list of most wanted fugitives.
