Yesterday, Twitter announced that it will be shutting down Vine, the beloved app for hilarious video clips and unforgettable memes. And can we talk about the sheer star power generated from the constantly-looping 6-second videos? From Shawn Mendes to Lauren Giraldo and so many more, there are a lot of bona fide stars who got their start posting Vines.

While we’ve been assured that we’ll still be able to access previously created content, and that they would sound the alarm before making any changes to the Vine website or app, it’s still a pretty emotional day for all the Viners out there. In honor of Vine’s golden age coming to an end, we’ve rounded up a few stars whose Vines will go down in viral history. Luckily, even if Vine does delete their previously uploaded content (and we hope they never do), these glorious videos will live on forever in the world of YouTube.

1. Shawn Mendes

Vine gave us lots of stars, but one of the ones we’re most thankful for is Shawn Mendes. Shawn was discovered after he uploaded a Justin Bieber cover to Vine, and we’ve been #blessed with his beautiful voice ever since.

2. Lele Pons

Lele Pons was the first Viner to reach one billion loops, and for good reason. She’s basically the cool best friend we all wanted in high school, and she’s hilarious. Lele has a YouTube channel in addition to her Vine page, and we have a feeling that she won’t be going anywhere.

3. Cameron Dallas

Cameron Dallas achieved fame by posting Vines of himself playing pranks on his friends and family. All those jokes paid off in a major way, because he’s soon getting his own show on Netflix. Yes, please.

4. Jay Versace

Jay Versace might be the most hilarious teen currently on the Internet. And his relatability goes beyond his sense of humor, as he recently opened up about his sexuality via a message on Snapchat.

5. Thomas Sanders

Luckily, Thomas Sanders already has his sights set far beyond Vine: he’s taking his “Storytime!” catchphrase on the road with his upcoming tour, Ultimate Storytime.

7. Simone Shepherd

Simone Shepherd’s LOL-worthy Vine loops cover pretty much all the bases, from relationship drama to serious #realtalk of the severity of giving up your favorite Starburst flavor. There’s also a Magic Mike moment halfway through her compilation – can you spot it?

8. Jake and Logan Paul

Jake Paul is well on his way to becoming a bona fide Disney star, as he recently joined the cast of Disney’s Bizaardvark. His Vine loops feature a lot of physical comedy, and plenty of pop music.

Jake's older brother Logan also made the leap from Vine star to movie star, as he recently appeared in the film The Thinning. His Vine videos are a great mix of silly and straight-up hilarious (um, that dog and those French Fries!)

9. King Bach

King Bach is pretty Internet famous – he’s essentially the King of Vine, as he has accrued the most followers of all time. His social media celeb status led to him getting TV gigs, such as recurring roles in House of Lies and The Mindy Project.

10. Us the Duo

Us the Duo – AKA Michael and Carissa Alvarado – might actually be the definition of relationship goals. The pair that became Vine’s first musical act to get a major record deal met on the set of a music video, where they fell in love. Cue the swoon. Their Vine channel consists of folksy covers of your favorite songs.

11. Rudy Mancuso

Rudy Mancuso’s Vine loops are a mixture of music, silly humor, and straight-up satire. His videos contain funny lines like, “Nike...just do it...unless you don’t feel like it, so do it later” (relatable, TBH), and some sweet shots of Rudy showing off his guitar skills.

12. Nick Mastodon

Viner Nick Mastodon is responsible for the child star of that glorious meme – you know which one we mean. Gavin, the adorable little boy who gives the best faces for literally every scenario, is Nick’s nephew, and he’s ALL over his uncle’s Vines. You’re welcome.

13. Lauren Giraldo

Lauren Giraldo is not afraid to go there, and her Vines are pretty hilarious. In addition to being a funny Viner, she’s also a musician, YouTuber, and is developing her own series. Phew.

14. Amy Marie Gaertner

Dancer Amy Marie Gaertner’s Vine will make you want to join your gym’s Zumba class, like, right now. Her short dance videos to pop music are totally inspiring, and she has some pretty funny clips as well.

15. Manon Matthews

Manon Matthews’s videos are endlessly funny, and her celebrity imitations are just the start. The video of Kristen Stewart trying to identify her ice cream flavor is pretty much spot-on. Also, her Starbucks Vine? Yeah, that’s all of us.

16. Ruth B.

Ruth B., the singer behind “Lost Boy”, got her start on Vine by singing both covers and originals. Just wait until you hear her dreamy versions of “Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae)” and the Pretty Little Liars theme.

17. Joanne the Scammer

The Internet personality known as Joanne the Scammer is pretty iconic. Created by Branden Miller, Joanne is a messy b*tch who lives for the drama, and her videos are essential required Internet viewing.

18. Brittany Furlan

Last year, Brittany Furlan was declared as one of TIME’s “Most Influential People on the Internet”, and she was also nominated for a Teen Choice Award in 2015. Her Vine loops showcase her different character personalities, all of which are delightfully weird and hilarious.

19. Lohanthony

Anthony Quintal, AKA Lohanthony, posts a lot of silly videos as well as pretty relatable clips (like the one about upperclassmen looking down on freshmen as though they weren’t freshmen just two seconds ago). Also, can we talk about him singing Katy Perry?

20. Jérôme Jarre

French Viner Jérôme Jarre started posting videos on Vine the very day that it launched, making him one of the first Vine stars ever. He’s a true success story, as he was once sleeping on an office floor and trying to make ends meet. It was the video called “Don’t Be Afraid of Love” that sent him into viral territory.

21. Lil TerRio

You’ve definitely seen Lil TerRio all around the Internet, as his “Ooh Kill ‘Em” dance went viral shortly after he posted it to Vine. He became one of the youngest social media stars, thanks to that freestyle snapping dance.

22. Kingsley

Kingsley has been super popular on both YouTube and Vine, and he also has his own podcast. He posts short videos, often containing rants about pop culture or commentary on things happening in the news.

23. Cody and Marcus Johns

These brothers are two of the cutest and funniest dudes on the Interwebs. In fact, they made such an impression that Cody was hired as the first ever Vine VJ. We love their silly voices and expressions, and could definitely watch them all day. Thank goodness for YouTube.
