Ever since we found out that Nick Jonas would be performing at the MTV VMAs 2016, we've been wondering...well, a lot of things. What would he wear on the red carpet? Would he sing about Bacon? One question we didn't ask — but apparently should have — was whether or not he would get a matching tattoo with Joe Jonas just for the event.
Earlier today, Joe posted a mysterious picture to his Instagram Story that read, "Pre VMA tats." We assumed his ink would be a solo decision, but it turns out that it was actually a matching moment with Nick. We know this because Nick then followed up with a Snapchat of his own, succinctly captioned, "Boom." In the black and white snap, the brothers stand with their backs to the camera, displaying their brand-new matching designs. Namely, they both have thin, horizontal arrows tattooed on their biceps now — and the arrows point toward each other. We're not entirely clear what the meaning of this is, but we feel like it might have something to do with the two being connected, by blood. Either way, it's definitely a memorable option for commemorating the VMAs!
