When you’re a supermodel – like Gigi Hadid, for instance – knowing how to take a great selfie every single time pretty much comes with the territory. Judging by her perpetually on-point Instagram and Snapchat posts (including more selfies than we can even count), Gigi seems to have memorized all her best angles. Usually, she tilts her head at an angle and gazes downward, which maximizes the amount of light hitting the high planes of her face. Like we said, girl definitely knows how to work the camera. But thanks to Snapchat’s constantly changing series of filters, she may have just discovered her most flattering selfie secret yet.
If you’ve been playing around with the filters recently, you may have noticed a new one that overlays a purple tint (can someone please make this exact shade of lipstick?) over your mouth and imparts an alien-esque enlargement to your face. To cap off the transformation, it also arranges a few Lisa Frank-esque stickers (a star, a heart, and a rainbow with clouds, to be exact) on one of your cheeks. Thanks to this new addition, Gigi just took her cutest picture ever – and she definitely knows it. Today, she posted two pictures featuring the alien-wearing-purple-lipstick filter and her signature poses.
“Stop this filter was made for me,” she wrote on the first. The second simply read, “This is the cutest I’ve ever been and ever will be.”
Way to go, Snapchat. And way to go, Gigi.
