Bella Hadid Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction in Ralph & Russo Dress at Cannes Film Festival 2017

It was an effortless save.

When she's not slaying the runway in Milan or creating a new street style trend in New York, Bella Hadid's dominating the red carpet with her daring approach to style. One glance at her high-slit red gown from Cannes Film Festival in 2016, and it's easy to see why she's one of the most exciting celebrities to follow on the red carpet.

This year, the star wowed us yet again at the festival's amfAR Gala on Thursday evening (May 25). All eyes were on Bella as she graced the red carpet in a spellbinding gown designed by Ralph and Russo. The dazzling number left little to the imagination, with sheer draping throughout and strategically-placed beaded embellishment. Bella finished her look with strappy René Caovilla silver stilettos.

While Bella did layer a pair of nude-colored briefs under her sheer gown, she ended up baring more skin than perhaps intended, when she took a wide step on the carpet. Like the supermodel she is, though, Bella recovered from that slight wardrobe malfunction effortlessly.

This isn't the first time Bella fell victim to a fashion mishap. Just last week, she suffered a wardrobe malfunction in an Alexandre Vauthier gown when a gust of wind revealed her underwear. At the amfAR Gala last year, Bella narrowly avoided an accident on the runway when she went bra-less in a tracksuit and some precarious boob tape.

No matter how many wardrobe malfunctions she suffers or narrowly avoids, Bella continues to work the red carpet and the runway with professionalism and grace. With a confident attitude like that, it's no wonder Bella looks stunning in every outfit she wears. We can hardly wait to see what she dons on the next Cannes red carpet, wardrobe malfunctions be damned.
