It looks like Ed Sheeran has injured his arm and it may impact some of his upcoming performances.

The "Shape of You" singer may be busy with touring, finding new doppelgängers, and making cameos on some of our favorite shows but a recent accident may have made all of it come to a temporary halt.

Ed took to Instagram early Monday morning (October 16) to share a photo of his arm in a cast, and to explain what happened to him. "I've had a bit of a bicycle accident and I’m currently waiting on some medical advice," he began, "which may affect some of my upcoming shows. Please stay tuned for further news."

Fans have wasted no time offering outpourings of well wishes and hopes for fast healing, some even suggesting that he should have restrictions on risky activities, in the same way that athletes do, and others wondering whether or not John Mayer could step in with a helping hand. One fan commented, "can @johnmayer play the guitar but @teddysphotos on vocals? That's a dream."

While we obviously don't hate the concept of an Ed x John collaboration, we do hope that Ed gets better soon.
