Blake Lively Wears Yellow Brandon Maxwell Look on 'Good Morning America'

Blake Lively is always style goals, especially when it comes to wearing unapologetic color. Though the star doesn’t often remark specifically on the use of her bright palette, she didn’t let this week’s whimsical reference go, as she poked a little fun of her latest look on Instagram. Posing in a pair of wide-leg pants, bell-sleeve turtleneck, and waist belt all in the same bright shade of yellow, Blake wrote, “🍌b. A. n. A. n. A. S. 🍌” because, of course she did.

Comments like these are part of why we love Blake so much. Though she did, of course, start Halloween off early with a head-to-toe yellow look that would have her looking like the chicest banana on the block, she also looked stunning on the most real-life way as well. Her full look was designed by Brandon Maxwell. Blake also took to social media to show off the details, with jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz and Ofira Jewelz and cat-embellished shoes from Charlotte Olympia.

Blake was dressed up for an appearance on Good Morning America, to promote her new movie, All I See is You. While on the show, however, she was also asked about the Harvey Weinstein scandal, to which she replied, “Well, I think it’s important we acknowledge this isn’t just Hollywood. This is so much global. And this isn’t, ‘Oh, guess what, this is what’s happening to women suddenly.’ This has been happening to women since the beginning of time, and I think that’s what’s important.” She added, “I never had experiences like this with Harvey myself, I only had positive ones, but that goes to show you don’t always see what’s going on behind closed doors. I think when people come forward, you have to acknowledge. There’s been moments when I’ve come forward, other people have come forward with things that just feel a little [off] and you’re not sure, but when your bosses tell you that this is not priority to them, then you think, ‘This must not be that big of a deal. What I’m complaining about isn’t really that big of a deal.’ And it is.”
