Every time Kylie Jenner announces a new Kylie Cosmetics product, we know very few details before the official launch. The glam guru loves teasing upcoming additions to her line on her social media channels, but keeps things vague, offering up only mysterious sentences or the occasional black-and-white photo (which, of course, completely disguises the colors). So, when she announced on Twitter that she would be revealing and dropping three new shades of her Liquid Lip Velvets today (May 25), fans immediately began keeping a close watch on her Snapchat.
But then, something unexpected happened. Beauty vlogger Jeffree Star broke the news before Kylie even got the chance to, posting pics, shade names, AND swatches to his Twitter account. Kylie followed with her own reveal a couple of hours later, giving her followers the scoop on the trio of colors (Poison Berry, Strawberry Cream, and Grape Soda).
In a rare twist, both parties seem to have chalked it up to an honest mistake. Kylie told fans on Snapchat that she had sent her new launches to influencers, so it seems Jeffree may have received his early — or accidentally timed his reveal incorrectly. Kylie responded to his Tweet (in which he praised the shades) with "yummy" and a heart-eyed emoji, so it seems safe to say that she's not mad.
