Get ready, Netflix-bingers. The Get Down is going to become your new obsession. This 13-episode series is directed by Baz Luhrmann (of Romeo + Juliet and The Great Gatsby) and follows a group of friends living in the Bronx in the 1970s as they discover their love of music. The show will star Tremaine Brown Jr., Shameik Moore, and, of course, Jaden Smith.
The latest trailer for the series will undoubtedly build the excitement — plus, it showcases some incredible moves by Jaden himself. You definitely will want to dance after watching this.
The Get Down will be released on August 12 on Netflix, so plan accordingly!
