Supreme is known for their much-anticipated releases that sell out in seconds, not to mention their top tier collaborations with fashion designers like Louis Vuitton. Their latest stunt, however, has fans going crazier than ever before. In partnership with MTA, New York’s City’s subway system, Supreme released limited edition metro cards at various stations throughout the city. Yes, you read that right: those iconic little pieces of plastic are officially a fashion It item.

If you’ve ever been in the subway you know it’s not the most pleasant experience. In fact, most riders just want to get in and out. But, as Racked reports, this Monday was very different. People were crowding the stations and even fighting for their space in line to try their hand at getting one of the coveted cards. One video shows police officers having to break up a group of people who got into a physical altercation over the cards. Yes, you read that right. People were fighting over a $3 piece of plastic because it says "Supreme."

Clearly, there's no limit to what Supreme fans will do to own one of their branded pieces, even a simple Metro Card. It is pretty cool to own an iconic emblem of the city with a fashionable twist. Let's just leave the fighting at home next time, okay?
