Beauty enthusiast Monbebes, rejoice because Urban Decay has tapped Monsta X to be the new faces of the makeup brand. On January 19, Monsta X’s label, Starship Entertainment, announced that the six-member K-pop group will start serving as global makeup brand ambassadors.

To promote and celebrate their new makeup partnership with Urban Decay, Monsta X graced the cover of Beauty+ Magazine, a South Korean beauty publication, ahead of the announcement. Each of the boys was fresh-faced, with a natural, glowy makeup look on the cover and editorial spread. In it, they were posing with long-time Urban Decay favorites, the various Naked palettes. All alongside a cheeky cover line hinting at the collab: “NAKED MONSTA X.”

In a statement to Star News via Naver, an Urban Decay representative said Monsta X is “an artist who inspires Urban Decay a lot. Monsta X will become Urban Decay’s persona, further enhancing the brand value and enabling active communication with Gen Z.” The brand strengthened their ties to the group last week when they gifted Hyungwon with a cake for his 27th birthday (international age) during a shoot.

But this isn’t MONSTA X’s first beauty campaign. In 2018, they served as the face of K-beauty brand Tonymoly for the release of a new lip tint. Their partnership with Urban Decay is their first global makeup collab, and we love to see these boys continue to thrive in the beauty space!
