Yara Shahidi has tried plenty of beauty looks over the years. The Black-ish star’s red carpet glam has definitely evolved, but we’ve always noticed that no matter what look she’s rocking, she pulls it off flawlessly. From violet curls to bright pink lips, she’s really tried it all — and we love every version of Yara. That said, her greatest beauty moment yet has us seeing another person entirely.
Last night, the actress posted two pictures to her Instagram that made us do a double take. The first depicted a certain, iconic songstress. “👑The Queen 👑 #Sade,” Yara wrote in her Instagram caption. The second image was captioned “✨homage ✨” and featured Yara looking EXACTLY like Sade. From her pose to her hair to her makeup to her outfit, Yara nailed it. Upon closer inspection, we noted that she added her own little flourishes — opting for a side-swept bubble ponytail instead of of a three-strand braid and keeping her lids bare instead of wearing smudged-out winged liner, but she definitely captured the essence of the picture. There’s no doubt this has to be one of her biggest beauty highlights!
