Snapchat just released a series of filters that will help save lives. Yes, that sounds dramatic, but as it's World AIDS Day, the social media giant has teamed up with (RED), and designed three new filters in partnership with Tïesto, Jared Leto, and Jimmy Kimmel, reports Refinery29.

Whenever one of these filters are used, $3 will be donated by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to (RED). Just that little amount — $3 — can provide up to 10 days of life-saving treatment for people suffering from the disease in sub-Saharan Africa. It's the most infected region in the world, and the World Health Organization estimates that over 25 million people live with HIV/AIDS there.

(RED), which is part of the ONE Campaign, is an organization that aims to eliminate new HIV infections, and today's campaign with Snapchat allows you to contribute in a really easy and fun way. Since we're pretty much on Snapchat all day long anyway, what better way to show your support for World AIDS Day than using one of the filters and contributing to a great cause?

Donations will be made up to $3 million, but hurry because the partnership only runs through today!
