BTS just made history — again. With one third of 2018 in the books and numerous awards already nabbed by the K-pop group, BTS has received yet another honor courtesy of the Soompi Awards, the largest international awards spotlighting the best in Korean television and music.

On Monday, the Soompi Awards announced the winners across a variety of categories for its 13th annual awards show. BTS won not one, not two, but a record-making six group awards. The honors include: Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Choreography, Fuse Music Video of the Year, and Best Collaboration. Group member V also took home the trophy for Best Idol Actor. Following on the heels of a major iHeart Radio Music Awards win earlier in the year, it looks like BTS continues to sweep whenever they're nominated.

And it was a major year for the Soompi Awards. Forbes reports that it received 163 million votes coming from 190 different countries. Categories that included Twitter Best Fandom (GOT7), Best Choreography (BTS’s “DNA"), Best Stage Outfit (Girls’ Generation’s “Holiday”), and Fuse Music Video of the Year (BTS’s “DNA) were reportedly based solely on fan votes.

Plenty of fans were stoked about BTS's victories. One person tweeted, "I mean what else do you expect from kings." Another fan wrote, "#BTSonSoompi is what ARMY so proudly fought for! Because we know @BTS_twt deserved it!!!"

All of this comes at an exciting time for the K-pop superstars, having made another big announcement on Monday as well. Just Jared Jr. reports BTS will be releasing its next album, Love Yourself: Tear on May 18. It's a sequel to its last album, Her, which came out in September 2017. Fans can preorder Tear starting April 18. Maybe the group will release a new single before the album drops? Guess we'll have to wait and see what Love Yourself: Tear has in store for us.
