If we could ask anyone, and we mean anyone in the entire world, for beauty tips and tricks, a supermodel and Beyoncé’s makeup artist would rank very high on our list. So, when Karlie Kloss took to Instagram to reveal that she just posted her first-ever makeup tutorial to her YouTube channel Klossy, we instantly clicked.

The best part? The L’Oréal spokesmodel teamed up with Sir John, L’Oréal brand ambassador and also Beyoncé’s makeup artist (casual), to recreate her exact Met Ball look from this past May, and the result is truly gorgeous.

The video opens with exclusive behind-the-scenes clips of Karlie getting ready for fashion’s big night (including bathroom moments with Lily Aldridge and traffic jams with Gigi Hadid). Next, the video flash-forwards to Karlie and Sir John breaking down the look: smoky liner, seriously glowy skin, and soft lips.

First, Sir John starts on Karlie’s brows for “a little Brooke Shields action.” His tip? Use a pencil and a powder for extra staying power. Then, he moves onto her statement eyes with a taupe shadow. According to Karlie, taupe is every girl’s BFF.

It wouldn’t be a makeup tutorial without a contour moment, right? Sir John shows us exactly how to get those supermodel cheekbones. Check out the video below to see what it takes to get red carpet-ready. We’ll be jotting this down.

What better way to end the week than with these incredible beauty hacks? BRB while we catwalk into the weekend.
